The deductible was $150. And the warranty started short of 80k mikes, around 78k. Yes this was cheap and I went in knowing they documented the flywheel and expected over life of the warranty that it would need replacement. I also recognized the business practices for these types of business are shady. And correction total premium was $1950, I just looked again at my contract. Confused caused I pby macnjam - Main Forum
All, I am a lurker but posted a about 18 months ago (can't find the post) that I purchased an extended warranty from Paragon Motor Club. The warranty I purchased provided an additional 5 years or 100,000 miles for major mechanical. this would take me to 2016 or ~180,000 miles whichever come first. Well, the clutch died tuesday. The pedal resistance changed again and now it is slipping in a major way. I took it to my dealer Hennessy in Atlanta, and the are putting in a new clutch. The open question is the flywheel. I have an extended warranty that covers flywheel but Hennessy has to prove to them it needs replacement. TSB 1360 explains procedure to test the flywheel. All, I have a 2002 Boxster S and noticed that the engine oil light would flicker. This happened when engine revs got low (close to stall in traffic). It turns out that oil pressure relief spring was broken! I have the spring and it cracked if half. The dealer (Hennessy, Atlanta) could not see a sign of engine damage but due to this my oil pressure was north of 2 bar and probably never got to 5 bby macnjam - Main Forum
Hi all, I searched the forums and google without much success. I have a 2002 Boxster S, 85k miles. Yesterday without any prior oddness the clutch pedal became less resistant and at the initial engagement or the disengagement of the clutch there is a vibration in the pedal. This is only during the initial disengagement of the clutch or the point when you are releasing the clutch. It is constantby macnjam - Main Forum
