At the recent car show I fell in love with a BMW M4 convertible in Yas Marina Blue. This is certainly not a Porsche but is a fun car in it's own right. Where the Porscby Bill S - Main Forum
Bruce Have you driven the Tesla yet? Any comparison? I test drove the older Tesla and enjoyed it, but have not tried the P85D with Insane mode. This just might put me over the edge. The only antidote is to get this Philly snow melted and drive my 2011 Boxster S But I did get my BMW X1 chipped by Dinan this week. Always good to have more horsepower Billby Bill S - Main Forum
Thanks to all for the replies. The handling of the 18 inch is fine, and more than I am liable to need until I take him (Hoden) to the track. I also run the tires a few pounds over recommended pressure. I am thinking of going to the 20 inch wheels and tires for the look, as long as I have to change them, I thought bigger would look better. I have a 2011 Boxster S on 18 inch wheels and tires with PASM. I find the ride rather soft on the normal setting and too harsh on the sport setting. Has anyone had experience going to the 20 inch wheels? Did you find the ride harsh? Potholes a problem? I'm interested in anyone's experience. Thanksby Bill S - Main Forum
Tis is a known problem with the 2 L 4 cyl turbo engined cars. My 2014 BMW X1 does not have hesitation, but many others do. Some on the forums have had their CPU/transmision reflashed and others have had aftermarket software done to eliminate the hesitation. Even without hesitation, the BMW is not in the same zip code as the Boxster, but is very useful, especially in snow. Bill S 2011 Boxster S 2by Bill S - Main Forum
Dealer could find no problem and the battery wouldn't hold a charge. Chalked it up to a bad battery and replaced under warranty. Bill Sby Bill S - Main Forum

Sorry if the term offends. just meant to point out that I was one of the original PPBBers My first Boxster was the second one out of the dealer in early 1998. I've visiter PPBB and now Pedro's board multiple times a day since Bill Sby Bill S - Main Forum
I came back from a 1 week vacation to find my 6 month old 2011 BoxsterS dead. I charged the battery and disconnected my radar detector/GPS power wire (into a switched connection in the fuse box). The car will be going to the dealer in a few days but... The battery read 12.55 volts last night and this am read 12.32. Is this an acceptable drop overnight or is there another power drain?
