I'm no expert but I did spend a lot of time hanging around a diesel engine rebuild shop. I have seen mechanics measuring "breakaway torque" when analyzing failures. I'm not sure what that revealed. But when they wanted to know the torque of an existing bolt they would mark the position, loosen it and then retighten to the mark while measuring the required torque. Presumably this gave the bolt theby BillM - Main Forum
I have never been in a focus group but I have seen how they work. There was either a one way mirror or video feed where clients and /or other observers can watch and learn how the group reacts. So they may have been learning not only from your words but from body language etc. So all comments and questions and reactions were noted by someone.by BillM - Main Forum

It's been a long time ago.....but I remember in the early 70's a bunch of the 911 owners were using Pam, a non-stick cooking spray, on their front spoilers to keep the bugs from sticking. I never tried it but they swore by it. BiiMby BillM - Main Forum
I obviously don't know how to post a link. So for the story on the Boxster intro at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama go to al.com. Then select News, then Business and finally under columnists select Michael Tomberlin. Scroll down to the story.by BillM - Main Forum

I took delivery of my 97 in August of 97. The sticker on the door jamb says built in 7/97. I reserved a slot on 10/9/96. Placed $1000 deposit on 4/1/97. Locked in Arena Red/black at that time. Dealer told me on 6/26 that they had started to build my car. Delivered 8/18/97. Still have it. Still love it. BillMby BillM - Main Forum
