Marc,in this case i am dealing with the rear "track arm" which controls the toe adjustment. it consists of a bushing at the "side section" (i call it a tower) and a ball joint at the wheel "carrier". there is a camber bolt/washer assembly that controls the toe adjustment. my car shows signs of a wheel hit that has deformed the frame and makes adjustment impossible (.72 toe-in i can see the rubby wrgreener - Main Forum
i am considering making my own adjustable rods for mt boxster. i plan to buy an AURORA -HIMI rod ends, female counterclockwise 14mmX1.5, 14mm bore, a double headed L&R threaded dolt, and a std front outer tie rod end. my challenge: 1) to mill or buy bushing that will reduce the 14mm bore to 12mm and fit in the typical 43mm receiver in the main tower that the old arm fits in 2) to find a doubby wrgreener - Main Forum
hi, just replace all control arms in my o3 boxster. wishbone, trailing, tracking, tie robs, and drop links. had it aligned. shop says all parts (vertex) and install (my me) where non-damaged and correct. all specs good except rt rear toe @0.71degree (0.00-0.17degree spec.) so toe in. shop tell me that they think my "knuckle" is damaged, whacked out, or bad. any thoughts?? like, the tower couby wrgreener - Main Forum
