I will be there on Sat. hanging around the Porscheplatz.by FRED(DUNWOODY, GA) - Main Forum
I leased a 2011 base Boxster about 2 months ago with PDK. When I asked about the 2012 I too was told that there would be no significant changes until 2013. The lease program was very inviting on the 2011 models and I would think there are still some available. The car is a joy to drive or AIM as those who are manual devotees would say. Good luck with your search.by FRED(DUNWOODY, GA) - Main Forum
Here are some pictures of the new Boxster. It is dark blue metallic. Kind of overcast here in Atlanta this morning so the pics may be a little dark. That's the 944 track car in the background, which is for sale by the way. My impressions so far of the PDK transmission is that Porsche has hit a home run. Far different from the old Tiptronic, much smoother and smarter. More later.by FRED(DUNWOODY, GA) - Main Forum
Thanx everyone for the good wishes. As soon as I figure out how to post pictures I will get out the digital camera and have at it.by FRED(DUNWOODY, GA) - Main Forum
John; If you think the Audi wasn't right how about the Infiniti G37S and the Ford Mustang that followed. As they say there is no substitute. Is anybody planning a fun run in the near future? With regards to the PDK it is great not to have to use a clutch anymore, especially in Atlanta traffic. I'll report back on my impressions after a month or so. Fredby FRED(DUNWOODY, GA) - Main Forum
Hello everyone. After 3 years of being without a Porsche (daily driver), still have a 944 track car, I have taken delivery of a new 2011 Boxster (dark blue metallic with PDK). Have always followed the board and am very happy that now I may have something to contribute. A special hello to Pedro. Its nice to be back and I have already made my reservations for next years BRBS.by FRED(DUNWOODY, GA) - Main Forum
