Do you know why the US and Canada car configurators support different options? In Canada, but not in US: 20" Sport Techno wheel choice Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) option Mirror housing painted exterior color option Rear apron painted exterior color option Side intakes painted exterior color option There may be others. I agree, I'm not crazy about the mirror design either (in addition to being p*ssed that they leave half of the housing unpainted... grrrrr...) Still, for such a big change, and controversial spoiler notwithstanding, it's a design otherwise remarkably free of errors (IMO). Re: mirrors. I think Porsche does this intentionally to drive option sales. You can get the lower mirror housings painted for $320 or something. Same with the rear apron, headlight washers, and side intakes. All of those parts should be painted. They leave them black because they can, without harming the styling too much, knowing people will pay the extra money to get the car properly finishby John in Orlando - Main Forum

I'll put my cards down now. I predict it will be a huge hit, and it'll look even better in person. For a relatively modest base price upgrade, the car's been improved tremendously. Just the opposite for me. Feel like they've finally fixed all the awkward styling cues (e.g., puny side vents) from the 986/987. More aggressive, but still very shapely, even edgy, for a Porsche.by John in Orlando - Main Forum
