No tickets either!by Todd in PA - Main Forum
I has occurred to me that I was 50 when I got my 2002 Boxster (birthday present) and while waiting for it, I met Rev Dennis and Dennis A here on the old PPBB. We went to lunch at a pizza joint in Macingie and the Rev let me drive his car. I am 60 now so this will be the 10 year anniversary of the ESBB. I will be leaving my house at around 9 am if anybody cares to join me, (Kevin the slow might)by Todd in PA - Main Forum

Like Dave says, it will be hot and my marina and or boat is available! Bring your towels and swim stuff. I have very limited internet access here so if we are on then someone call me at 610 349 0660. Is anybody else besides Dave and I coming? Curious people need to know. Rev. Dennis? Kevin?by Todd in PA - Main Forum
It will be a wonder if we can get together on the 9th in typical ESBB fashion! I will have the "sport wagon" not the "short bus" (yellow cab) but I can eat crabs and make the drive to Watermans interesting as well with either.by Todd in PA - Main Forum

Got it, some people really manhandle the steering inputs on the track and it really upsets the balance of the car. It is amazing how a fairly decent driving technique will allow almost all modern cars to perform way beyond what you might expect. it's really fun for me to enjoy a "spirited drive" with another driver in a "performance" car while I am in my station wagon or son's mini. QuoteRoger987 With the windscreen installed and side windows up, how does cabin turbulence compare with the Boxster with the windstop in place? MY take is the 997 has way less buffeting than the 09 Boxster S we compared it to in back to back test drives. The proof of the pudding was my fiancé's earings were still in the 997 and flapping in the 987. I think that could have been the deciding factoby Todd in PA - Main Forum
As much as I love my yellow Cab, I have always continued to believe, that for me, the Boxster is the best car Porsche makes. The 911 is a bit larger for my 6'5" size and with the windblocker and the side windows up, very calm in the cabin with the top down. I am curious to see if the New Boxster has just a bit more room inside compared to my 986. It took me awhile to remember exactly how to exploby Todd in PA - Main Forum
Hurley Haywood seems like such a nice guy. Can you imagine having someone of that calibre teaching you performance driving? I always just rolled my big foot (size 13) over to the throttle and could blip with the right side of the ball of my foot. Sometimes I had to tape a block of wood to the throttle to make it even with the brake pedal when fully depressed, make it much easier. I want to try Huby Todd in PA - Main Forum
