Sadly the fatality numbers are going to continue to climb. Lots of people still unaccounted for. The smoke is so bad in the SF Bay Area that we have the worst air quality in the world and is creating significant health issues for those in the "at risk" population.by Paralizer - Main Forum
QuotePedro (Weston, FL) Larry: Sounds like water from the A/C which collects in the pan until it's full or you move the vehicle. The oil part could be A/C compressor oil. How's the A/C? Happy Boxstering, Pedro Here's an article which explains the fluids: Thanks for the prompt response Pedro. I haven't noticed any problems with the AC when I use it. Looking for some thoughts on a leak I've developed. I thought it might be the RMS, but now I'm not so sure. The car is parked for days at a time now. If I check under the car after it's been parked, there is no fluid. But after I start it and pull out of the garage I'll notice a short, approximate 1-2 foot thin trail of fluid. It seems to be water with a little oil mixed in. I'd say it's coming mby Paralizer - Main Forum
Pics please. My top is getting a bit worn and is on my "to do" list.by Paralizer - Main Forum
QuotePedro (Weston, FL) ... over to my Garage in South Florida and I’ll be happy to do it for you. Happy Boxstering, Pedro Thanks Pedro. If I had the time head your way at the moment I'd take up your offer. QuoteMarcW Don't know how convenient this would be for you, but I had my 2002 Boxster's rear window replaced then years later when the top wore out with a GAHH top at this place: Tri-Vaby Paralizer - Main Forum
I apologize if this is a repeat but I couldn't find anything on a search here. My 06 987S top is getting quite worn and thin in spots. (The problems of living in a nice climate with 300 plus days of sun p/year) Can anyone recommend a good place for a top replacement. Obviously I'm looking for a reasonable price as well as good quality. Thanks in advance.by Paralizer - Main Forum
Per chance is there anyone on this board in the Huntsville Alabama area? What appears to be a rather clean 2016 GTS has popped up. I was hoping to find someone in the area who could take a look at it and give me their impressions. I'd be grateful if there was and would be happy to ship a case of a quality west coast microbrew as a thank you.by Paralizer - Main Forum
Factory ordered and I have 147k on mine and it was a daily driver until 2 years ago. I still love the sound of the flat 6 and I think the styling is holding up very well. Oh and 987's have hydraulic steering and a real E brake. Paralizer 06 Boxster S 6 speed atlas grey black full leather PASM sport chrono sport seatsby Paralizer - Main Forum
Nice to see a Boxster being used in an appropriate manner.by Paralizer - Main Forum
If it is PASM equipped there shouldn't be, PASM comes 10mm lower. To my knowledge there was no difference on the base suspension. Don't recall with "sport suspension" option.by Paralizer - Main Forum
Spotted this on Rennlist today and thought there may be some here might be interested.by Paralizer - Main Forum
You just touched on my biggest long term concern, the dreaded M96 motor. Granted my car was built after the "upgraded" bearing was being installed, but still there's always that concern about putting lots of money into a car only to have the motor grenade shortly thereafter. Again, decisions decisions...No matter what the final decision becomes my current 987 has been a complete joy. I've gottenby Paralizer - Main Forum
Hi Pedro. Yes lots of things to ponder. I think my first choice would be a nice GTS but while there are plenty of PDK's the manuals are getting rare, but I'll keep looking. In the mean time I'll probably put some $$$ into my 987. As for another Boxsterfest, I'm not sure. The real brains of that endeavor is no longer in the picture. In the mean time 6 more months of work and then I push the ejectby Paralizer - Main Forum
Hello all, and a big hello to you Pedro. I'm still around, and still have my 06 987S. With 146k miles it is finally broken in. It still makes me smile every time I fire it up and hear that glorious flat 6. It's most definitely still a joy to take to nearby hills and twisties for a good flogging. Sadly it also shows the wounds of a car that was a daily driver in a major urban environment, and It pby Paralizer - Main Forum
Hi all I know it's been a while and I hope everyone is doing well. I have a interesting, read $$$, problem. I was leaning across from my driver's seat trying to grab the registration out of my glove box. I needed to look at how much I paid as part of my taxes. (turned out the info wasn't there) As I was trying to dig under the 2 manuels I somehow managed to put to much wieght on the lid of the glby Paralizer - Main Forum
While absent for quite some time, here I am. Still have my trusty '06, with over 60k now. Need to get my butt in gear and pop in here a bit more. Fond memories of the WCBF in '07. But life has taken me, like many others, in a number of different directions the past couple of years.by Paralizer - Main Forum

Well first off Merry Christmas everyone. I noticed over the past day one set of the vents on my 987S are kaput, as they say. I need to pull the vent out of the dash to see if I can resolve the problem. Anyone know the process for removing the vent assembly from the dash?by Paralizer - Main Forum
Wow...lots of good info here. I've contemplated keeping an emergency tire at home. But with this info I might consider a spare in the car. Thanks for the info. FYI the beer was my home brew coffee porter...yummmmmmm!!!!!by Paralizer - Main Forum
Really does suck at times. So I'm just pulling up to work this morning...early...in the dark. I'm within 10 feet of parking and...KAPOW!!!!!!! I step out of my car and all I can hear is hissssssssss. Ah @#IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I can't see exactly what the problem is, but I don't need to. Unfortunately my work has me out in the field all day. You are now THE MAN for Boxster's Pedro. Thanks for being willing to undertake this. I hoist one in your honor sir. I think you need to make a run to the left coast at some point in the near future. I'm sure there's a certain singer that would love to light one, and hoist one, with you too.by Paralizer - Main Forum
Well this is fantastic. A huge thanks to EVERYONE that had a hand is putting together the new board. It's great to see it up and running. It's also nice to see familiar names popping back up so quick. Well done.by Paralizer - Main Forum
