QuotePedro (Weston, FL) ... is this the year you're coming to BRBS? You know you want to. Just do it! Happy Boxstering Pedro It seems like those days I will dropping kids in summer camp in northeast Texas :/ It would be so much fun to be at BRBS doing a full shoot and enjoying everyones company... let me see my schedulesby Frissen - Main Forum
That Cayenne was some sort of brown in my opinion, but really, I can't tell exactly what color it was, sorry. The miror issue makes sense, they do look good.by Frissen - Main Forum
I bit late perhaps but I was holding the report to see if had a proper test drive to bring the whole lot of info, unfortunately that test drive never came so here is my report... So far I paired the 991 against a couple of 996TT including my own and the 991 proved hella fast!!! Even at Puebla's altitude of 2500 meters above sea level where aspirated cars los anwhere from 23 to 27% of their poby Frissen - Main Forum
Congrats on the new purchase, enjoy and drive fast Don't worry much because Boxster are toughby Frissen - Main Forum
Believe me the Boxster is one hella of good car, ubber enjoyable, practical and lots of fun. But then again there is always a 911 in our wishlist. It will depend entirely up to you because the 911 is one hella of a ride as well as the Boxster and it comes in many, many flavors and prices, under your budget I can think of a hella fast 996TT or if you want composure perhaps a 997 S and still the Boby Frissen - Main Forum
the 981 is fantastic!by Frissen - Main Forum
couple more with the R8 and don't think we planned this shoot, we went for sushi at lunch and told Mary if she wanted a couple of pics with the R8, took out the camera and done, no special lighting, no special location, not even a flash on top of the camera just a D7 and lens, hehehehe later in the afternoon at the kart track...by Frissen - Main Forum
QuoteBoxsterra That's how he got started. That's a cool pic. Talk about sibling rivalry. I loved the Senna movie, the best driver in history, period. Perhaps a bit more could have been extracted to make the movie, but since Senna was quite the character he was no much more footage was available I want to think, but Senna was all that and much more than shown in the movie. Thanks, perhaps notby Frissen - Main Forum
oohhh crap!!! not only Porsche is going to charge an arm and leg for an stupid oil change but with the pepper and panny using most service bays I belive servicing in the near future is going to be a pita if is not alreadyby Frissen - Main Forum
QuoteboxsterdI still can't believe she's had 2 kids. Must have good genes. you mean these two kids?by Frissen - Main Forum
QuoteClif R not like it because she said her head kept bouncing off the seat back. it was an r8 v10 , manual. boxster is more useable. it is however very quick and we went up the Palisades Parkway , pulled into the overlook and the poor ferrari guy packed up and left. i think there were six cars, about an even split with coupes and convertibles. seems to drive "big" it's portly but still qby Frissen - Main Forum
QuoteBoxsterra How does it compare to a Porsche? The R8 is simply amazing, this is how a sports car should feel in my view, I never thought I would say it but I love the R8, period. Its that good!by Frissen - Main Forum
Totally NBC but I know Mary pics are always welcome in the forum, hehehehehe... Mary with the new toy...by Frissen - Main Forum
no doubt that everyone has a different story, compounding all factors each of us has a different reason to keep or ditch our beloved Boxsters... I seldom think about running costs but I do take a hard pounding at Mexico's prices for parts and tires...by Frissen - Main Forum
sweet rims, after market powder coat or did you purchase them black? OEM "17s that came with the car originally, just painted in a semi-matte dark gray-hue of gold anf these would be my track wheels My street set up are these "18 Carrera S Reps painted the same way Yes the Agusta behind it is mine, I have 5 of those, and yes I drive a meager MY2000 986 just for kicks and no I'm not richby Frissen - Main Forum
let's dress up this magnificent thread with pics and decide if its a good idea to trade up... MY2000 986 ofered trade in by independent broker $11.5k no way!!!!!!! I'll just drive down to the ground, periodby Frissen - Main Forum
now the Parade... for the Parade I took the 996TT, I flew for 90 minutes at nothing less than 150mph, amazing, I touched 190 several times... here picking up speed after refueling... Mary stole my 996TT for the open track... then she stole the dealer's 987 well, lots of fun,the whole report here:by Frissen - Main Forum

QuoteBoxsterBob - San Carlos Looks like a great event. There seems to be something missing from the usual Frissen Gallery offering. I know, I know... but I'm happy to announce that I'm back with Mary and the new rules are quite strict in that respect, nontheless I have some Mary pics with my 10 year old son new toy I hope you like... playing with cars and make up... here is the car ownerby Frissen - Main Forum
most track driving events make you drive with your top on, some may require a hard top, so I just don't risk it and show up with my hard topby Frissen - Main Forum
I just spent the week at the PSDS held at our local track in Puebla, Mexico... tremendous event where I spent most of my time driving but when not driving playing with the camera side notes: thanks to my friend Mao Carrera for my pics driving and also was quite glad to see another 986 at the PSDSby Frissen - Main Forum
I'm here but I don't check it as often as I used to be on PPBB :/ Still have the good old Boxster almost 12, this photo was taken today :by Frissen - Main Forum

continuing with the update... I got together with a few club fellas for lunch... and dinner :/ hehehe... I decided to start the day early with a good run in the RS but since I was flying solo the only thing I could do was park it and shoot it... ...then my dad catched up in the 996TT... ...and the others started to arrive... ...we then headed for lunch... ...luch was at Las Calandrias inby Frissen - Main Forum
I was very glad to receive an email from Pedro that among other things says that I don't visit the forum much... I remember being glued to PPBB all day in the past... well... I continue to own my original MY2000 986 2.7 manual... it gets driven on regular basis perhaps 3-4 times a week to work and back... it continues to drive flawlessly and perhaps better than new, really... unfortunatelly ourby Frissen - Main Forum
