I rented a Czech Skoda Fabia, it was a good small four seat car. Porches were rare, I think I saw one Boxster. Las Islas Canarias were created by Volcanoes so they are very mountainous. There was a lot of driving up and down on switch back roads. The highest point on Tenerife is Mount Teide at 12,192 feet. We drove up to 8,200 feet. There is cable car that can take you to the peak from that altitby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

If you keep burning old gas after yearly winter storage. It can cause valve damage and carburetor problems. After I restored the 1974 MGB in 2000, so my daughter could drive it to high school her senior year, it has been stored every winter and driven very little in the summer leaving the old gas in the tank year after year. Eventually the MG started running poorly and it was getting worse everyby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

a week in Malta and still missed some of UN World Heritage sites and feel we need to go back for another week. We spent an entire day just seeing the island of Gozo which is a twenty minute ferry ride northwest of the main island of Malta. I made a 30 minute video of our time in Malta. 30 Min Video Tour of Maltaby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
what does the $2,195 buy you?? Is there a site where you can hear the difference over standard? My car exhaust sounds fine the way it is. It sounds a little bit better when I push the Sport button on the console which also turns off the auto engine stop and restart feature. ??by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
Once you get there everything was cheap at the current exchange rate $1.11 = 1 Euro. There are some areas that are very busy and parking is very difficult like the Capital, Valleta. In the summer it gets very busy because of the sun seekers. Our car was $59 for the entire week incl insurance from Meli Car Rentals, used to be Budget. Malta Classic Car Museum Photosby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
Last week my wife and I were in Malta. Among many other attractions we visited was the Malta Classic Car Museum. The Car Museum has a facebook page: Malta Classic Car Museum . I have 62 photos of cars in the museum but it would be impractical to try and post them here so I picked one. Here is my photo of the Museum entrance with the Bugatti Targa Florio. By the way they drive on the left in Maltaby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
It is not too often that I see other Boxsters around the upper mainline so I was surprised when I went to get a haircut this morning and parked between two Boxsters. Both the other drivers were already in getting a haircut. The bad news is now my barber is thinking about raising his price.by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

When they repaired my Boxster after the Deer hit they replaced a radiator. Since I got the car back in late October I have had two cooling fluid low alert reports and added a half gallon anti freeze each time. I brought the car back to Conestoga collision today and I think they are having trouble getting all the air out. Is there a process for that?by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

We have an outfit near us called Carisma that is great, They fixed a dent on my rear trunk lid that I got at a construction site. It took less than an hour and cost $100 if I recall, I watched them do it. Carismaby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
On my 2008 and 20012 I had the same sport exhaust on both cars and it was easy to keep clean. My 2016 came with its own sport exhaust. Over time I learned there was a difference, the new tailpipe was hard to clean. I recently got a tip from my MGB mechanic to use 'White Polishing Compound'. I just gave it a try and it works great. It turns an impossible task into a five minute task with very littby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
Click on the link below to see what Bambi did. More needs to be done to reduce the deer population around here because hitting them with cars is costly and not the most humane way to do it. Repair requires replacing the bumper, headlight and the black grill Photo of deer damage to my Boxsterby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
Saw a 2016 Spyder on the floor at Porsche of the Main Line so I took a closer look. I was interested on how the top worked. A rep there assisted and we actually put the top up. It is about the same manual effort/process as putting the top up on my 1974 MGB. I like pushing a button better.by Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum

Just got a 1' x 1' x 1.5' box in the mail from Porsche NA. After I peeled away the layers I found the item in the photo. The letter says "The enclosed gift gives you a very special insight into the concept--bringing the world of superb cornering to your desk". My observation is that all it does is that when you rotate the ball the little car moves due to a magnet inside that won't let the car oby Jeff (Philly) - Main Forum
