The first photo is from Friday morning, at the hotel parking in Richmond VA when I got in my car to drive the final leg of our (me & wife) tripe to The Boardwalk Reunion III in Ocean City, NJ this past Saturday. RaggTopp works well! These following pics were on the way to the event already in Southern NJ: Finally, my car made it to the Boardwalk. I had been wanting to do this since tby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

We got very lucky in Tampa Bay. The expectations were 10-12 feet of storm surge where my daughter lives. She left everything and came over to our house with her husband, her daughter and two cats. To everyone's surprise, Ian veered East before expected and Tampa Bay drained out! Ian took Tampa Bay's water and dumped it into Port Charlotte. In our home, we were perfectly fine. The intermittent brake wear light could be a loose or bad sensor. If he LF has twice the wear as the RF: a) the LF pads are dragging (dirty/damaged pistons not returning home). You should hear the brake dragging when doing 3-5 mph. b) the RF pistons are not working correctly (you would feel the car pull left when you brake hard). Usually the ones with smaller holes have a skirt that will seal when pressed in. They're made to fit different size oil canisters. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

Have you checked the connectors in the frunk? The changer may be getting power, but could have the audio disconnected. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
... you're able to get the glass to fold. That's one of four reasons I don't like the aftermarket glass on pre 2003 986s. The other three are higher cost, less visibility and more weight. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
... having to completely reconstruct my website (http://www.pedrosgarage.com). This started in March when the old software crashed. That software was not supported anymore, so I had to purchase new software, learn how to use it and redo every single paragraph, sentence, word, letter on the site. Because it's a new battery, the ECU can finesse the charge for optimum maintenance. As the battery gets older it isn't as "flexible" with low voltage and requires higher voltages to maintain its charge. All perfectly normal. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
There, just wanted to say it. I feel better now. They could care less about their customers. Not surprised to hear they are closing their stores. Good riddance! Happy Porsche'ing, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
... will certainly introduce a vibration (harmonic). The OEM flywheel is a dual-mass flywheel for that purpose specifically. It has an elastometer to dampen between the two masses. I see this all the time: Billet flywheel = vibration. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
I really don't know of anyone else that specializes in these repairs. We have developed our own process, special adhesives and specialized parts to make sure that the panels look as good as new but more importantly that they do their work (allow the Airbag to deploy if ever activated). That's a great explanation from frogster! For the keyless entry system, I hope you kept the little tag that has the codes. This tag will be needed together with your car's IPASS codes and with the use of a PST-II or a PIWIS, the new remote can be programmed into the Central Locking Unit in your car. Only dealers and large independent shops will have those computers so check with the shop first tby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

The newer PDKs have different firmware and may have "options" for the end-user. All of the Tiptronics and as far as I know the 1st and 2nd gen PDK start in 2nd gear unless in Sport Plus or if you mash the right foot down when it will shift to 1st gear. If the car has its wheels turned to one side or flat, it will put a lot of pressure on the steering lock, not allowing you to turn the key. If this is the case, you can help by tugging on the steering wheel to release the tension on the lock. Hope this helps. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
... As far as I know, I'm the only shop working exclusively on the delimitation issue. Up to a few months ago it had been a mostly sportscar problem. We are now also repairing a lot of Cayennes as well. 99% of our volume is out-of-State and Souther CA is probably our largest supplier of delaminated panels.
