For sale, 2001S rear tail lights. I changed my car to the European tail lights some time ago (no amber), so have the stock ones for sale. Looking for $100 + shipping. In perfect condition. Email me is the best way to contact as I don't check my PMs very often. I live in north bay, CA.by Larry Nakamura - Parts for Sale
I too am having the same issue. I took the pannel off but I don't see the connector for the micro switch. Do you have any pics showing the exact location? I did have the B&M short throw shifter put in my car and maybe the wires were rerouted so I can't see them. I do see the wires that I think go to the glove box lid at the front of the hand brake. Let me know. THX for you help as always Pedby Larry Nakamura - Main Forum
I have some condensation issues too. I updated the coolant cap to the latest revision. I also read about replacing the bleeder valve O rings, but someone had the idea of just trying to tighten the screws that holds the bleader assembly. It worked. Be careful to not tighten them too much as they are very easy to break.by Larry Nakamura - Main Forum
Thx Pedro. I was guessing that what they were. I will reuse them.by Larry Nakamura - Main Forum
I'm selling my used 2001S M030 suspension parts. I changed my suspension to ROW. The parts are springs, shocks/struts (no sway bars). The parts have approx 40K miles on them and are mostly freeway miles. I was part of a group buy some years ago for the ROW kit and finally had it put on the car a couple of years ago. So the parts have been sitting on a shelf in my garage ever since. Asking $300 pby Larry Nakamura - Parts for Sale
I'm replacing the original brake pads on my 2001S. I knew about the anti-vibration metal cylinders on the front pads that stick into the pistons. But when I pulled the rear pads they had 2 things stuck on the back of the pads. I'm not sure what they are. Are they also anti-vibration devices? Do I need to use them with the new pads or just delete them? I'm using stock Porsche pads as I do mostly sby Larry Nakamura - Main Forum
I wonder if you had a/some bad leaking O rings on the spark plug plastic shields? I had one that was leaking badly onto one of my O2 sensors and gave me a CEL. Did your mech give you back the old spark plugs so you could inspect them? Did he replace the plastic spark plug shields and O rings? Just a guess.by Larry Nakamura - Main Forum
I have one like what you are describing. I bought it at a Boxster event some years ago. Not sure if they are still around. I haven't actually used mine. If you are interested I could sell you mine. The original price was $100. Email me if they aren't around anymore and you are interested and we can talk price.by Larry Nakamura - Parts for Sale
I have a used 2001S M030 springs, shocks, struts for sale. Not sure the year car you have. The parts have approx 40K (mostly highway miles) on them, so in great condition. Let me know if you are interested. I see it's been several months since you first posted so not sure if you already found what you are looking for. Let me know and we can talk price.by Larry Nakamura - Parts for Sale
I opened the clam shell and found the driver's side plastic cup end had broken. The passenger's side was not. The nut on the metal ball had come loose at some time and both pieces were sitting down below where it should have been mounted. Don' know if this means I was on one actuator arm for a while or not. Anyway, I put the ball back into position and tightened the nut on. The plastic cup pieceby Larry Nakamura - Main Forum
I hope something like that is all that happened. What I need to know is what I need to go look at to see what may be broken. Pictures would be a big help. I have the shop manual so I'll pull them out and take a look at the top mechanism hardware to get a better idea of what to inspect. I'll open the clamshell and take a look around tomorrow.by Larry Nakamura - Main Forum
So, I was having one of those brian dead days where everything you do takes 2-3 times as long to do because something always screwed up!!! It was a nice warm day so I decided to put the top down. The brain dead thing is I forgot I had the roof rack on the car, so after a snap or two (something breaking) I realized what was going on. I have a one touch top, so what stopped it was the roof rack. Iby Larry Nakamura - Main Forum
I'm curious as I have an 01S, how many miles do you have on the car?by Larry Nakamura - Main Forum

I have a set of used US sports suspension with approx 40K easy miles on them. This is the shocks/struts/springs that I have to sell. I did the ROW conversion and therefore do not need the parts any more. I live in CA for shipping purposes. Make me an offer and we'll see if we can make a deal.by Larry Nakamura - Parts for Sale
