The shifter could need to be adjusted (adjustments are under the center console). The shift linkage at the transmission could need grease. The shift linkage at the transmission could have play.by Boxsterra - Main Forum
I looked at what was recommended. Then I called and spoke to one of their techs to find out why they recommended it and make sure there was no question about which product was best. The RedLine product may be slightly cheaper than the Porsche but it is still definitely not worth it. It was significantly worse than stock. I wouldn't put it in if it was free.by Boxsterra - Main Forum
I switched to Redline at 75k miles and noticed an immediate decrease in shifting quality. I changed back to Porsche stock fluid and the problem was resolved. No problems since (now at 150k miles).by Boxsterra - Main Forum
but instead something more upstream, possibly a bad ground connection. I would start by checking the headlight switch for excess play.by Boxsterra - Main Forum

Plug a wireless Bluetooth unit into your aux in. Then you get the stock look with the added functionality. Most aftermarket solutions like they've been shoehorned in and are ugly, though functional.by Boxsterra - Main Forum

In any case, I believe that Porsche does recommend replacing the lug bolts on tire changes, which for many is more often than oil changes. I have no problem with disagreement. That makes things interesting. And from that we learn. It's all good.by Boxsterra - Main Forum
Porsche recommends single use of nearly every bolt from caliper bolts to the drain plug. That doesn't mean there is a good reason or that there is a reason we care about.by Boxsterra - Main Forum

Not anywhere near as much as on an internal combustion engine though. Besides it will take a while before the different requirements of electric cars cause us to remove the vestiges of the outgoing technology.by Boxsterra - Main Forum
It could be sticking or not connected properly. You can take it off and clean it.by Boxsterra - Main Forum
The problem is with the electrical portion of the switch. That is a quick DIY but depending on your ability to work upside down and fit your head and arms under the dash, it can be a pain. In the best case, it takes about 5 minutes. In the worst case, you contort and bitch and swear just to remove two screws that are right in front of your face and it takes 30 minutes. DIY instructions here:by Boxsterra - Main Forum
is to thoroughly clean it off then run the engine and see where it comes from. Once it gets to be a mess it can be much harder to see the origin.by Boxsterra - Main Forum
You're basically pushing a button that is straight back but the paper clip can go off to the side on the way back. Try to keep the end of the paper clip that you're inserting towards the center of the lock cylinder so that it doesn't stray off track. When you finally get it, the cylinder will pop.by Boxsterra - Main Forum
