I have read all of the options and I see the cable under the shroud, but is it supposed to be really hard to push/pull? Also I have a trickle charger but will that work with the battery disconnected? I tried it but i got no current. Can I get something to hook on the cable to pull it? TIAby Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
Hey is the driver down shifting in the middle of a turn? it is at the .42 sec mark.by Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
Not that I hold consumer reports high in sports car reporting, but it is an interesting clip. He makes a base Boxster drift a lot. and he drives he best color. Boxster driftingby Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
I thought of those but if I am driving as I usually would on the whole trip except for the downhill section with the weather being a nice day with nothing out of the ordinary, and I was coming back from a track weekend so the car is a bit loaded more then usual, and I must have had the top up because if it was down then I would have gotten even better mileage. I guess I could have had a tailwindby Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
I would love to have someone explain what I experienced to me. I had seen the posts saying no gas is used if the car is in gear but then I just don't know how I experienced what I experienced. Anyone have an idea how I got what I got?by Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
and was going home from Vegas to L.A. and there is a stretch on the 15 that has about 5 mile(?) downhill and I would usually average around a 21-22 mpg for highway driving, but this time I put it in neutral going down the hill and it rose my trip avg from 21-22 mpg to 26 mpg for the entire trip. The only explanation I could think of is that since the rpm is about 800 at idle and if I was in gearby Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
The car looks great, now I just need to get it.by Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum

for their new Pilot Super Sport. Does anyone have any questions they would like answered? BTW I am going to ask if they are going to offer them in the Boxster standard sizes. I believe they originally were not going to make them in our sizes. At least '01 sizesby Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
I did have a bad AOS but got that replaced and drive it like I stole it for a bit but then it came back on.by Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
but I am still getting the 0102. I would like to hear what answers you get.by Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
Nevermind, I just found out how, but should I clean all of them or does 0102 specify what side?by Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
I got a P0102 and I need it smogged as well. TIAby Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
I visit this site daily, but I hardly ever post. My '01S has issues and I have not been driving it for over a year. Most likely an AOS leak but it could be worse. I really need to fix it and drive it. It always brought a smile to my faceby Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
I submitted all of the questions so far and we will see if they answer the questions from mikefocke.by Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
Hi everyone, I have gotten an email from Michelin and they are going to start to do some webinars and they were looking for topics to cover with their engineers and specialists. They had asked for topics, questions or issues that my online community would be interested in. So the question goes out to all, what topics would everyone be interested in? I will collect them all and forward it outby Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
I think it is a good idea since most of us have more then 1 car. or do we use this only for our Boxster's? Be that as it may I was going to use it but I forget when I ordered some tires for another car I have.by Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
I did the Michelin Driving event that showcased these tires and they were hands down the better tire. The event itself was pretty good as well. It was really evident during the autocross that these tires just reacted faster and gripped better. To bad I didn't realize that they were not making them in the Boxster's size when I was at the event, otherwise I would have asked them. I sent an emaiby Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
and it was a really good event. Let me start off by saying I am not affiliated with Michelin any way. It was a half day event that had three activities, a braking event, an autocross, and a track event. They had two sets of cars at each event. 1 car with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport and the other with the competitors. They used the BMW 328's for the autocross and braking events and Lexus Iby Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
When people tailgate I too sometimes just take my foot off the gas, but sometimes they don't get it and stay on my tail. At that point I just continue the tactic, I realize though that this could lead to road rage so I do not usually do that.by Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
and a friend had reccommended that I take a look at Porsches. I started to look at all of the writeups for it and all of the other cars I was looking at. I was looking at the Audi TT, Honda S2000, BMW Z3 and the Boxster S. I had either rented or test drove each of the cars but without a doubt the Boxster won out. The Audi was didn't have the right feel behind the wheel and the Honda was too hby Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
How lucky or unlucky was it that they were filming and passing that spot at exactly that time... hmmm They are very lucky if it is true thoughby Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
I usually get one of those blue bordered spots. They are usually by the door.by Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
is this used so it is easier to fill up? It looks like you can just stick the pump in? I realize it is pre-production so maybe it is. I also noticed he did kinda pull out in front of the cayenne when he made a left, but hey it is not his car. haha. I also noticed there is no center radiator gap but it does have the twin tailpipes... hmmm I wonder what that means. Thanks for the link.by Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
sorry, I meant that I got an aftermarket radiator cap and that one leaked but the oil filler cap is tight. Can you hear something from the oil filler cap when at idle? I will check the MAF and go from there. Thanks Marc.by Michael SYS Driver - Main Forum
