Could be loose optical connection somewhere in the fiber optic loop. Might be worth having someone look through the front trunk, amp, etc. Could also try a battery reset - remove power completely from the car for 10 minutes, then reconnect. Wait for Pedro to weigh in on this.by Eric (Plug Guy) - Main Forum

For many years, Omega Seamaster was the watch for choice of James Bond, just to clarify something posted earlier. I spent a bit of time this past weekend with the newest Omega Speedmaster 'Dark Side of the Moon' edition. Spectacular design, all black ceramic, some interesting features, but not enough to grab my attention, and well, 12k retail price! I do like the Omega line (owned by Swatchby Eric (Plug Guy) - Main Forum

What I don't understand, and never have, is this: it's a freaking convertible! I'm a cab guy, have been for a very long time. When I put the top down, I expect wind! If I don't want wind I leave the top up. So much overkill for something that should not matter. Maybe I just don't get it, but yes, I see a few folks driving cabs with the windows up and I just shake my head. Oh well, to eacby Eric (Plug Guy) - Main Forum

QuoteHarvey in FL To reach way inside the wheels, I use this long wheel brush. Great for also reaching calipers and inside wheel wells. To clean the wheel spokes I use a softer material such as this: Happy cleaning I bought the x-mas tree brush a couple years ago - and used it one time. It's sitting in the cabinet collecting dust. Porsche does NOT recommend conditioner or 'stuff' on the DASH leather. It is dried/treated a different way in the factory before being installed in the dash/car, and if you start conditioning it, you may end up with trouble. Leave it alone. Seats, fine. Doors, ok. Dash - NO. A damp (barely damp) microfiber wipe is all you need. Leave the dash alone - the sun kills it with heat and if you sby Eric (Plug Guy) - Main Forum

You wonder if the crash bar had to be 'modified' to meet our US DOT standards.....vs whatever they are using in Europe - could be different bumper covers, but same frame below. Odd.by Eric (Plug Guy) - Main Forum

What's interesting (as an Audi owner and Porsche owner) is the vast differences between Audi models. With Porsche, there are some decent similarities between models, and the driving experience will bore this out, yet there are enough distinctions to make each model 'lovable' in its own right. With Audi, the differentiation gap is enormous. We've owned two A8L's, granted their biggest sedans, wby Eric (Plug Guy) - Main Forum

If I were you, and assuming you used an agent for your Nationwide policy, I'd go see your agent and raise hell. The agent is the primary contact here - and let him/her know how Nationwide failed in this process. Yes, there were others at fault, and plenty of missteps along the way, but you pay an agent (usually) for your insurance, and for me, any claim issues I have go straight to my agent, whby Eric (Plug Guy) - Main Forum
