Hi I got my air vent out of the dash, but there is a cable that needs to be be disconnect which is about 7" in the dash. I can see it when I shine a flash light in there. My hand can't fit thru the hole? What is the best way to remove the cable and then install the new one that is attached to the vent. PS I broke the old cable from the old unit...so the old cable is still connected. Thanks.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
I had the same issue on my 2006 Boxster S. I guess it is good to reset the locking system. I get different results when I use the key fob vs the lock on the door...then there is the inside lock button as well. The system must get confused....or maybe its the sequence in which we lock or unlock?by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
Thanks for sharing! Another example of a beautiful Boxster. I like how he refers to the top as an "emergency top" Let the battle for allocation begin!!!by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
QuoteGuenter in Ontario that Porsche will surely solve this issue by allowing you to tick off the the right options. Most owners will be more than willing to add the BSE option for a mere $3000 - $4000 so it will sound like they're virtually driving a real Boxster. You will have an option to upgrade to the Baumeister sound system for 5K USD more to enhance the ICE sound.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
Thanks for sharing Guenter! Nice Detail Pedro. You should have been sporting PB cap as well ?? You can always head back next week and get another pic?by BLKBOXS - Main Forum

Just remember in this case the volume device is not under your right foot. Turn the radio knob on the Left side to the right. Good luck.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
Thanks Guenter and Pedro! Just getting to know her...all those pony's and the handling WOW! I am overwhelmed...I had no idea how much the boxster changed from my 2006 Boxster S. I am 372 KM in. (231.5 Miles) Nothing over 4K RPM yet!by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
I picked up my Boxster 25 years on Saturday. Another wonderful day. Now the real fun begins. 4.0 ltr, MT, PSE, Sport PASM +, 4 tires and many other goodies.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum

Quotefrogster you right click and open in a new tab. then when you get there you can see the other pics. i think there's one duplicate link in this post so there are only 4, not 5. Please refer to the following summary of my ED! What a great Day! It Began – Leaving the hotel on delivery day. Chris and I left the hotel at 8 AM to the Leipzig Experience center. We were greeted and shown to the coffee shop on the 2nd floor by Shara and given a pager. The coffee shop was well equipped with all types of snacks and beverages. In the middle of the shop was a 1973 Carrera Rby BLKBOXS - Main Forum

WOW Great Pics and such an ecstatically pleasing vision of beauty!! I love the deviated stitching around the steering column and others. Great choice. Keep sending us links. I hope to experience that trip and car some day! Thanks for the future memories.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
QuotePedro (Odessa, FL) ... I'll let you steal "the original PedrosGarage 1998" Boxster for $99,999.99 (or best offer). Now, that's a bargain! Happy Bidding Pedro Hi Pedro, For that price, that would only include the sweat equity you put in to it. What is the total price including the hardware?by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
I was with Guenter at that event on Saturday and the Sales guy also stated that they can't get an allocation for a base Boxster. A customer has put a deposit down since Sept 2020. No or little Supply vs current Demand = sky high prices. Note: Dealers in Canada can't ask more then MRSP. Everything in the Dealership's showroom were used Porsches...all but one was sold...2020 Spyder...Press car 7Kby BLKBOXS - Main Forum
Sounds Great SteveJ .We need to see Pics! Please.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
Excellent Article. Thank you for sharing. I wonder how many of the 1250 units will come to Canada?by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
The passenger side ball broke. When I ordered the replacement part 4 years ago they came in as a pair. I used one and put the other one away for safe keeping. I don't have a clue were that is though? Ordered another pair. I am getting good at this repair...as long as i can remember what I did. Thank goodness I can refer back to Pedros Board! MEby BLKBOXS - Main Forum
If part of your enjoyment is driving a Manual gearbox, I would hold off on the PDK...you know that they make the GTS is Manual as well!by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
Kind of reminds me of when Ford put a 4 cylinder in their Mustang in1974. I was not impressed...so I kept my 1973 Mach 1 351 Cleveland 4 Barrel 4 speed for a while. I am sure the China Spyder will perform well...but not like the NA 4.0 LTR.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
Replacing IMS when you are replacing your clutch really won't matter for MY 2005.5 and up as you need to crack open the block to remove the IMS. I guess I will drive and enjoy.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
As you stated …"Michelin Pilot Sports 4S are the "best" " It is the only thing between your car and the road, why not get the best? I have a 2006 Boxster S and have never deviated from the Michelins. I ride on Michelins on my Lexus because it is a family car. My Honda that I drive back and forth to work gets whatever is on sale at the time. I feel the difference as I did have Michelins onby BLKBOXS - Main Forum
Riding the clutch is fun. It is part of the enjoyment of drive a standard transmission. Especially a Porsche!by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
Excellent Photo of you, Michelle and the Boxster S!! Why is it not covered?...or was it uncovered for the photo op?by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
