QuoteBLKBOXS Thanks Guenter, I think I will treat the Boxster to a new cap...so be quiet and don't let the cat out of the bag the next time we get together I filled up to the MAX line with approved coolant and a few days later...back to MIN ummm.. I just got off the phone with my Indy to order a new cap, however he wants to check out the system...this seems to be a good idea with ~50K Miles onby BLKBOXS - Main Forum
QuoteMarcW They say that if you don't put your top down for down for a full twelve months, you need to register it as a Cayman I am quoting Toop Geer.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum

I read some where that the rad cap part number should end in "04" ...is there anything wrong with "01" the one I have in my 06 987S? I did notice yesterday my temp needle move a bit over 7 in the 175 mark. The overflow tank was at the Min level so I added ~ a cup of Pedro approved antifreeze. No effect to the temp gauge.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
Why would Porsche introduce a special edition and only offer it on the base models? Porsche offers the 981 GTS - More HP and more aggressive styling Porsche offers the 981 Spyder - Even more HP, the styling evolution of the Spyder Porsche offers the Black Edition- Nope Nothinby BLKBOXS - Main Forum

One of my "neighbors" Thanks Laz....It is one of my favorites..My daughter took it with her Nikon DX70...along with my 1st favorite.. QuoteGuenter in Ontario Wow.. Looks like Porsche is really thinking outside the "Boxster" on this special offering. October can't come soooon enough. Roger: Sure will look good in GT Silverby BLKBOXS - Main Forum
QuoteRoger987 QuoteJoanne in OC Your story is horrendous ..... the feelings are very understandable. No one, but us, can truly understand the feelings of loss for our revered cars. When I was informed my car was totaled, I was devastated. I pleaded with the insurance company to no avail. No one could understand the tears. There were so many fond memories with my car. Try moving the passenger seat forward a few inches and pull the passenger seat top part forward. Put the top part back. Start the car. Any luck?by BLKBOXS - Main Forum

Roger, I am so sorry to here what happened to your Boxster. Like you and most likely all of us, we love our Porsche cars, especially the one we are currently driving. I hope all that insurance stuff works out for you. As you stated , your sure did do lots of enhancements to make your 987 very special. Best of luck!by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
QuoteGuenter in Ontario I hope you're not going to destroy my faith in Wiarton Willy. I've already got my shorts ready to wear for March 21st. The only thing that Wiarton Willy is good for is a nice pair of Slippers or maybe ear muffs while driving the Boxster on a cool Spring dayby BLKBOXS - Main Forum

QuotePedro (Weston, FL) As Gary said above, I'm sure that we'll start to see many of them at future BRBSs. With all of the great reviews on the Macan, we might have to change the name of the event to the "Porsche Macan Summit".by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
QuoteRoger987 I guess you didn't know I got dibs by breaking-in Gman's 981 on the racetrack, the day after he bought it, while he watched from the stands, perfectly relaxed, chomping on a Cohiba and pounding back a two-four of Labatt's Blue. Happy New Year EVERYONE! Roger, you also forgot to add that you were also going to paint the CURVN8R black and add shifting paddles to enhance the newly iby BLKBOXS - Main Forum

Congratulations on purchasing one of the fine examples of the Spyder RS60 special edition. I saw the car on the Porsche website...well I am guessing it was yours as it has 8K miles. Brand new!! and all those options...well done! Enjoy.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
QuoteGuenter in Ontario The current philosophy seems to be that there are entry level Porsches - buy a used one. It also sounds like the 981 both Boxster and Cayman will receive a refresh for the 2015 model year (about this coming June). Do you mean 2016? 2015 models are already here...however not in my Garage...I just looked Merry Christmas - Guenter...see in a few weeks for Bella Italy..by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
QuoteBoxsterbabe14 Hi, Everyone - Can anyone comment on the 2008 RS60 Spyder? I have a 2003 Boxster, but the "need for speed" has bit me and I am looking at this special edition to the Boxster S. Any bad reviews on it? Does the IMS problem affect the 2008 model year yet? Any advice, comments, or information, good or bad, would be much appreciated. Thanks!
