Amending Parts For Sale Posts
whall - Thursday, 25 August, 2011, at 12:00:24 pm
Pedro/Stefan,

Is there any way a "Parts For Sale" post can be amended as parts are sold? If not, is there a way to remove the original post so an updated post could be substituted?

Thanks

I think the best way to amend ...

... a "Parts for Sale" or "Cars for Sale" is to delete the item once sold.
But we'd need to hear from the poster when the item is gone.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Happy Porsche-ing,

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna

is that some people may be interested in an item but not have posted anything. A post with an update suffices to let them know and not make them think they're crazy because something they saw before no longer exists.
and add a sold post under the post once an item is sold. That should reduce the confusion for buyer and seller....but requires some extra work on the part of the seller. Oh horrors.
