Uncamouflaged 991 pictures

Here are some uncamouflaged 991 pictures.

Looks like the front running / fog lights are misaligned. Still don't like the Ford Focus mirros on a Porsche.

IMNSHO the Aston Martin-esque tail lights look out of place, but not as much as the overly repetitive badging:

911 Carrera S

All they need now are to add a few superlatives to make it complete grinning smiley

Did you notice the extra "badging" between the tailpipes? winking smiley

the interior's horizontal brightwork looks very arbitrary; not integrated into the other forms very well.
Even if they might be LEDs not requiring as big a surface for a given amount of light output, the smaller size makes the rear of the car look bloated from the taillights' bottom edges down. And there's that comic book anti-hero squint. Non mi piace.
It would seem the 911 is going the true GT route--bigger/ plusher, less sports car; the interior looks like the styling keys all came from the Panamerica.

The lettering on the back stands out as too much IMO: "PORSCHE 911 CARRERA". Of course the letters can be removed and maybe the car ordered without any designation at all.

Interesting pictures. Thanks for posting them.

Burg, your computer and fingers are faster than mine.
Still paddle shifters are not standard?!? *NM*

Overall I like it!

Pros;
1. Needed a serious refresh. The interior of the 2010 looks cheap and plastic'y compared to the Panarmera.
2. The rims are very nice
3. I like the integrated daytime LEDs
4. Overall a nice new design, but still is 100% recognizable as a 911.
5. Interior looks great, as it should for 100K

Cons;
1. No paddles, really! Come on Porsche, most do not like the thump paddles. I am sure real paddles will be an option.
2. Could be a bit lower
3. I was hoping for a diffuser on the new version, but I suppose with the engine+exhaust all packed back there it would be difficult to create an effective implementation of Bernoulli's principle.
LED DRLs should stay on Audis

I think Audi got it right with their LED lights. They look awesome on every grill I see. I think Porsche is getting into the game a little late, and now they just look like Audi groupies.
