I haven't seen his one before.

For the time being, I can still watch stuff videoed at these temperatures. smiling smiley

Hmm, they seem to have adapted Boxster/Cayman side vents in the 911? Looks more like a Cayman.

Side vents are just part of the camouflage.

I posted this a couple of days ago. Here's what the 991 really looks like.

Pretty easy to drive sideways like that with ANY car, including the Boxster. The tricky, experience (and fun) part of it is keeping under control.
Rocky Mountain PCA has an event every winter (Eiskhana) on a frozen lake. Great fun with any car.
What a waste of all the extra power

It is frustrating to me in Germany, because my Box is noticeably stronger on the cold winter mornings, but the roads make it scarier.eye popping smiley
... especially in light of their "Everyday" ad segment with the little kid strapped into the back of a Carrera. "Mommy, me 'n' daddy had fun today 'cause he power slid the Porsche all over the road! We even almost hit that yellow Turbo 'school bus'!"
Driving in the snow in a Boxster is great fun

Try it some time. With appropriate tires, of course.
I'll likely get snows when I go to a Cayman S.

I think I've mentioned before how amazing my 912 with snows was; besting even a Jeep that could no longer move up a hill. I actually had to stop, back down a bit and then pass around it, all with no trouble at all. My Alfas with snows were really good, too, augmented by LSDs.
Not a good option for SoFL ...

... because of all the car incursions into our waterways (canals).
Imagine driving into a canal.
The electric system doesn't work and you're trapped inside.
Happy Boxstering,
Pedro

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
Pretty neat! I wonder how it is against side impact, though. I have a feeling not so hot!
