Has my Boxster found a friend?

I have heard it said that after a period of time of living together couples tend to begin looking and acting like each other. Well, for the past couple of years I have been storing my small push mower I use for trimming in the Boxster garage. It has recently started blowing a cloud of blue smoke upon starting, which promptly disappears in a minute. Now I am wondering if the car and the lawnmower have become "an item" and if so what should I expect to happen next now that the mower has taken on the characteristic of smoking on start up?
