Seen several reports that the 991 will be around until the year 2025. So, does that mean that the 981 will have the same life cycle?
The reports have the following rollout for the numerous 991 varients: early 2012 for the Cab; December 2012 for the C4 and C4S; Turbo (520 hp) in 2013; later in in 2013 will be the GT3 and then the Targa (no more sliding roof, once again it will be removable); and finally the GTS in 2014. Further down the road will be the 991 Hybrid.
14 years is a long, long, time. Wonder if the 991 will be the last hurrah for the 911 line?
