Perhaps it's because the Rennsport Reunion is more of the traditional old-line Porsche owners who have 911 variants. Also consider the 911 is the racing (Renn) standard bearer for the company, not Boxsters.

Hey Gary, they just saved the best for last.

Check out the last picture. Icing on the cake.

Look at the passenger in the red Boxster. I think he's checking the nav system looking for the best spot to pass that turbo. smiling bouncing smiley

... here were some of them.

They had Parking Corrals for each model.

Happy Boxstering,

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

The Boxsters were well represented!
SMILIN - Tuesday, 18 October, 2011, at 7:59:47 pm
Just a huge Porsche showing. More than I have ever seen in one place. The run groups were overfilled. The car corrals were overfilled. The general parking (dirt hills) alone had more Porsches in one place than I have ever seen. I'll post a few pictures of Boxsters on the track within the next few days.

I was there, in my Boxster and parked in the Corral. There were probably 70-100 Boxsters in that Boxster Corral alone, including at least two new Spyders.
