Winery Weekend in the Boxster (lotsa-pics)
BoxsterBob - San Carlos - Monday, 24 October, 2011, at 12:57:01 am
Joanie and I drove up to Hopland for the Fall Wine Passport Weekend. We were able to take some great back roads and find a nice place to hike some old logging trails. I had issues with my "real" camera, so these iPhone shots will have to do. smiling smiley

The Old Growth Forest is pretty awe inspiring

Hands down, the East Coast wins, be we DO have Fall here

Late season tasting at Bara Vinyards

We picked up an ’04 Cab that will be opened on our 25th Anniversary in 2013.

Sunset view from the wrap around porch at Jaxon Keys.

Interesting prop at Terra Savia

View of Mendocino

On to the next Winery

Even the gas stations were Porsche-centric but unfortunately, graffiti stinks

Wow! Burg was in California too? That IS impressive. That Carrera must be faster than I thought. winking smiley I could have sworn that he was right behind me most of the weekend. (He was having trouble keeping up because I had on my 5HP PB hat.)

Wow! That looked like a really scenic drive with lots of variety. I would imagine your temperatures were a little warmer than ours, but it was comfortable enough (for some of us) to have the top down.

Thanks for sharing.
We had to suffer at the beach down here cool smiley

At one point, I was following a nicely modified, white 928 S 4 and had a red 911 behind me. Didn't get a picture opportunity, but it was cool to have Red White and Blue -- Front / Mid / Rear engine P-Car regatta. We also had a road rage indecent with an Acura Legend that required a phone call to 911. Similar to the episode db997s reported recently.
