Brake disc question (2001 Boxster S)
artandscience - Monday, 31 October, 2011, at 2:50:42 pm
Seems like I need to replace front and rear brake discs.

From what I can see on the Pelican Parts site, the best fit appears to be Zimmerman cross-drilled rotors.

Is there general agreement that this is the closest replacement for the OEM discs? (I know there is a Brembo kit but it's out of consideration for wallet reasons.)

cheers,
Stefan in Seattle
In the past, the "hat" portion of the rotor wasn't painted and it rusted a little, but I've heard that they come Painted now.

Check out AutohausAZ for some good prices

WHY do you prefer the Balos? Price only? Quality of manufacture? Stopping ability? Longevity?
post surgical cant type much. Superb quality and cheap.
