Ouch... this is a painful message...

My '05 Boxster was rear-ended recently. Thankfully the driver stopped immediately, admitted responsibility, had a license and insurance, and so forth. Non-Floridians can take this for granted, but trust me -- it's a pleasant surprise down here.

The bumper cover is toast, the bumperettes and reinforcing bars are likewise trashed, but fortunately there was no apparent damage to the rear fenders, tail lights, or rear decklid. My spoiler has a ding in it, and the exhaust tip is bent. My impression is that there is no structural damage, but I'll have to have that checked out to be sure.

Can anyone recommend a reputable body shop in the Pembroke Pines / Broward County / South Florida area? The other guy's insurer is offering several places, but I won't settle for some random high-volume place versus someone who knows P-cars.

Many thanks,
John

They only work on high end cars, do top notch work, and charge accordingly.

I've seen less than acceptable paint color matching from them.
There's a small shop in Tigertail Blvd. near Bass Pro Shop that does great paint work.
I think they're in Hollywood or Dania Beach.
I dont remember the name but I'll try to get it from a friend.
Happy Boxstering

Were you thinking of Dent Wizard in Dania? Unfortunately they closed a while back: too bad,as they did some ding removal and bumper refinishing on another car that turned out very well.
