It's getting to the point where one cannot desplay any signs of wealth. Doesn't matter if you give to charities (time and/or money), just because you have some extra scratch to spend on nice things, you are now considered evil. I know here in the US, a lot of times it's the mindset that is the difference. My wife and I own a Porsche, her nephew, who dropped out of highschool and drifts from job to job, on Facebook encouraged his friends to join him in Occupy DC. When one resonded, love to but have to work. His answer--quit. How far from reality is this kid. Quit a job in this economy? He has to ask for food and money donations to protest. I get the finger for going to school, honning a skill, contributing to society, all the while driving a Porsche.
Are "Dude!" and "AWESOME!!!" necessarily positive comments?

These days, just about everything is "AWESOME!!!," including being given the right change when buying a candy bar.
"An awesome tornado just wrecked my house, and some dude stole what was left!"
