Heck, I haul lumber in my Boxster, not a pallet of plywood, but a few 2 x 4s or trim pieces on occasion. Your comment made me think a Dodge Caravan commercial that running now...

You should've seen the look on the truck driver next to me when I loaded the front trunk.

We have two 90 lb shepherds (Cayman & Cayenne) winking smiley and I have to be careful with road dips when I have 100 pounds of dog food (ballast) in the front truck.

Here's Cayman out for a ride in the Boxster:

Nicely composed shot, and the dog has gravitas. *NM*

With a Newfoundland and Irish Wolfhound, I never was able to get such a great shot -- they never got in the Boxster. Sadly, I lost the Wolfhound this fall. Stay tuned, a new Newfie pup comes next week.

Sorry to hear of your loss, hopefully the new pup will help ease the loss. Dogs should live much longer.

It seems like only yesterday we were taking Cayman as a pup to Mavericks to watch the surfers.
