I've got a picture of my dad in WW2 standing with one foot in Holland and the other in Germany. No signs; just some barbed wire.

Have you been to the "four corners?" (NM, Utah, Arizona, and Colorado.)

Funny, I watched that film again, recently. Wow, how our memory can play tricks.

In my mind, William Hurt's Porsche was the epitome of PCar cool. It was shocking to see how beaten up, tired, and old it now looks..

db997S - Friday, 20 January, 2012, at 2:27:26 pm
Yeah, I watched it recently too, but while it is a bit of a beater (think it wasn't even four-years old when movie was shot) it seems like that nice comfy faded, pair of blue jeans. Look forward to the day my shinny new car ages. Hopefully, better than Nick's in the Big Chill, though.

Does it count if I drove my Porsche to a historic place, but didn't snap a shot with it in the foreground? Cuz I have this one from Summer 2011:

I don't have to go far to find an historic place, I live in one. The Historic Great Valley House of Valley Forge Bed & Breakfast (circa 1720) Documented in 1720 but construction probably started pre 1700. The 'modern addition' on the left (left three upstairs windows) in the photo below was completed in 1791. See Photo below and our History page [www.greatvalleyhouse.com]. We understand the house was used by the British to meet and plan the Paoli Massacre.

Although our house is historic it is not famous so I drove the 2 miles over to the Valley Forge National park this morning and took two more photos also added below.

Roger987 - Friday, 20 January, 2012, at 2:23:20 pm
I noted that on the 2013 Boxster there are now two brown colors, Mahogany Metallic and Anthracite Brown Metallic. There is also a new special color Cognac Metallic which I don't like. They should have kept the "Macadamia Metallic". What I would really like to see is a "Copper Metallic".
