Indy shop advice/comments, recommends for DC area - thanks in advance

I reviewed the paper work for my car over the weekend. Time for an oil change and 15K service. The oil change last year at the dealer was.... HOW MUCH! I must not have been paying attention last year as I also had a brake fluid flush, a warranted item fixed, and they (without asking me) change the cabin filter element. It cost WHAT to change the cabin filter! Enough of that. With my first Box, I had all oil changes done at the dealer for 4 years. The new car is 3 years old in April, but it's time to go indy. So, advice please...

Any input on indys it the DC are greatly appreciated. I have used Auto Centro in Rockville, but one unhappy incident with my last car kind of soured me on them. I am thinking about trying Taylor Chapman. Does anyone use him? Other indy recommendations (or non) will hopefully steer me to a shop that I will like.

I live in Maryland, but I am more than happy to drive to Virginia for good service.
