Spring Battery Replacement
RJS04 - Saturday, 24 March, 2012, at 12:16:09 pm
Hi,
My 2004 Boxster is due for a battery replacement. What is the correct procedure to maintain the electrics? Is the NAPA 7548 a suitable replacement?
Thanks,
Steve

... with the OEM Moll battery, I like and recommend Bosch.
You can get them at Pep Boys.
They have two grades (black box an white box) with different warranties.
Size 48R.
When purchasing batteries for the Boxster you need to look at the post configuration as well as the size.
Some have the posts reversed and will not fit the car.
Happy Boxstering,
Pedro

for a 987S?

I seem to remember, but can't find the specs, that the 05 987S had a higher amp requirement.
