Coolant in oil

66k miles and this little factory abrasion caused a leak into the oil.
Doesn't take much, does it!

What are you saying? I have absolutely no idea what you are claiming the problem is.
to get into the engine oil.

That irregularity was a gift from Porsche built right into the head.
There's definitely a compression mark (light line) perpendicular to what appear to be dark striations of some sort. It doesn't take much for pressurized liquids or gases to find their way past imperfectly mated surfaces.

*Better yet, I think something happened during the manufacture of the gasket, perhaps when a die stamper was creating the voids. (The light line has a bit of a curve to it, somewhat matching the adjacent hole.)

At least it's back on the road and running like a champ.
Unfortunately, the warm weather has arrived and I might not get to sample the full benefit of the UDD until October.
