LED light problem . . .

Just a little rant but holy cr@p those new low-profile, colorless/smoked lens LED bubble gum machines on LEOs are a major problem!

Unlit, you can barely see them at all in traffic let alone sneaking in medians behind tall grass, bushes etc. But man when there are lit!!! They're way too bright (no, not me [knock wood and my V1] ) and dangerously border on blinding passing drivers - especially during night time! I understand "their" visibility is important but blinding passing motorists seems counterproductive creating an addl hazard for them (and road crews where LEOs often mark the start). Over the past 2.5 weeks I've been in 7 various states, mostly mid-atlantic, and they've become way too pervasive on all rank of LEO vehicles. Particularly though, they're a real PITA to distinguish on SUVs.

Be careful out there as revenue hunting season appears to be in hyper-drive . . .
