Windshield wiper issue.

It will run when the key is turned to the start position and the car is not running but not when the car is running. Ignition switch?

Sounds like an ignition switch. Have you tried wiggling the key or putting pressure...

-- not too much! -- on the key in various directions to see if this makes a difference?
