is the best car in initial quality they have ever measured. Lets hope the Boxster/Cayman line gets the same attention.

My 2009 997 has been bullet proof so far--knock on wood. Both my Boxsters in the first two years of ownership had several minor issues to resolve over. It better be better, though, considering what the MSRP for an S Cab is. I actually thought about how well it is built this morning as i shut the door when I arrived at work this morning and the sound echoed through the parking garage. A mighty thud, it was.
