Ignition switch problem update
Al in Melbourne Beach - Sunday, 24 June, 2012, at 7:20:10 pm
Before leaving for BRBS and while there I had a problem where the ignition switch did not want to turn past the steering wheel unlock point. I planned to buy and replace the electrical part, but as a long shot I bought some graphite and shot it into the key slot using several small squirts over a couple of days, working the key in and out and rotating it each time. The switch has been problem free since. YMMV but if you have a problem with no electrical symptoms like I did, graphite may be worth a shot. I suspect a sticky lock pin was the cause.

And that's why the trade name is lock-ease :-) *NM*
