Not in the summer - you have to pay for parking and you know how cheap people who own expensive cars are!! 
The "action" moves over to Oak Beach a bit west of Captree, but it's a much smaller lot and fills up at about 8:00 AM- parking is a PITA.
If you go watch out for the radar/laser traps along Ocean Pkwy - seems as if there out in greater force this season.
