Filter replacement- Dirty Job
chrismmm - Sunday, 22 July, 2012, at 11:47:36 am
Fun, Fun, My New to me 07 Boxster and after acquiring dempseys 101 projects book and deciding to dive into air filter and cabin filter replacement. The boxster that I purchased in June may have never had a proper servicing. I was surprised that the original owner would let a porsche fall out of shape like this. You guys would know better than I whether this is a common occurrence or not. I thought I would share some pics. Peace and Take Care!

since i dont recognize that filter. The cabin air filter is ugly, but given the amount of particulate matter that can be in the air, no big deal.

A/F another story. I was actually surprised when, at 15k miles, i took mine out to replace (darn easy!), looked at it, and put it back in. replaced it at ~ 30-something miles. So yours probably came with the car. Mine's no garage queen. Tracked, autocrossed, driven in snow, etc.
