The 225's up front really help out the 986 cars; BTW, how'd things work out at WG? *NM* MikenOH - Wednesday, 8 August, 2012, at 8:31:46 am |

A couple of points from the test sheet:
-They dropped the clutch at 5800 rpm to get this time-same technique as the PDK launch control?. C&D has always posted some of the most optimistic acceleration times on cars, going back to the 60's.
-3070 lb curb weight: I guess those options add the weight (like 200lb+)
-$85K sticker: I'd like to see that list of options--maybe a special color match that included some real gold?

Some things are conflicts, others don't trigger as such. It is confusing. Laz - Wednesday, 8 August, 2012, at 4:28:30 pm |

Looks like they charged twice for the adaptive sports seats (including seat ventilation) and the steering wheel. Those must be pretty fancy seats!
Pick enough options: the price can be gotten to $116,000... Laz - Wednesday, 8 August, 2012, at 3:27:12 pm |
C and D might use different factors for weight. Add twenty inch wheels... Laz - Wednesday, 8 August, 2012, at 3:35:00 pm |
That 176 top speed: If they read it off the car's speedometer it'd be more like the factory's 173. *NM* Laz - Wednesday, 8 August, 2012, at 4:51:01 pm |
