Colby2 Modifications ROUND ONE....
MattTheCarNut - Sunday, 26 August, 2012, at 3:14:55 pm
Hi, Gang!

Well, it's almost already been four weeks since I collected Colby2. Even before I picked him up, I knew some mods I wanted to complete pronto. In the last four weeks, I've installed:

*Clear side markers
*LED license plate lights
*RS60 exhaust tips
*PORSCHE sticker on spoiler
*Red brake calipers

All of the above didn't go into the car w/o some complications. I read and reread the instructions on installing the tailpipe. I just couldn't get the bolts loose. No amount of WD-40 and torque would get them to budge. I ended up going to Porsche and paying Pedro (yes, that's his name) $100 to install it after hours.

Secondly, the red brake calipers were a HUGE PITA! I don't have a lift; I completed them one at a time. It look be eight hours yesterday and two this morning. However, the results are fantastic. Next time, I"ll just buy the freaking "S"! BTW, waiting between coats of paint to dry is a great opp to detail the rims. One could eat off mine now...

Stay tuned for round TWO!

Looking good! thumbs up *NM*

Looks Great! Remove the Boxster emblem on the rear deck lid and no one could tell it's not an "S".
Good job Matt...

Thanks Pedro and Jim!

Pedro- I wouldn't want to complete the brake caliper painting again. It took forever and was SO annoying. LOL!

Looks good. Where did you get the RS 60 tailpipe, and how much did you pay?
