Red clip for 981?
Jim 'n' SC - Friday, 7 September, 2012, at 7:47:47 pm
Any solution for the 981 with the top down to keep the alarm motion sensors on?

With my 987, I simply lean across and hold down the button above the centre latch while I press the lock button on my key. This engages the (less than spectacular) motion sensor.

Granted, I'm 6 feet tall, and wear a 35" sleeve; this solution may not work for everyone.

That doesn't work on the 981. As soon as you let go of the buttom the alarm goes off.
Initial test with old clip showed it to be ineffective.

The microswitch slot's shape might require modifying the old clip.

Minus 40 degrees... Is that Fahrenheit or Celsius?

The red clip was good for 10hp on the 986. Some, had the very rare black clip which yielded 15hp.

Pedro has an orange one (big surprise winking smiley) that's good for 20 HP.

"A mile of highway will take you one mile. A mile of runway will take you anywhere."
Then there's the ceramic yellow clip. *NM*
