LED running lights
danz76 - Thursday, 13 September, 2012, at 3:54:54 pm
Has anyone installed LED lights in the radiator opening of their bumpers? I am thinking of installing a pair on my '01 S because I like how they look on the newer cars. If so, would you care to post or PM me a picture of your install?
Any concerns over the LEDs blocking some of the air that is fed through the vent to the radiator? The LEDs are about an inch wide, and the vent opening is about 4-5 inches.

I installed Pedro's on my 987. I like having some DRLs, but on the whole, these are not very bright, and I am not sure that anyone really sees them.
If they don't seem bright enough .....

... you probably installed them pointing too low.
The one compliment I always get at the track is how well cars can see me.
Try moving the lights a bit higher.

My Pedro's running lites are damn near perrrrrfect. No issues at all. Suggest you aim them higher.
