Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna

Sit down and drink good wine with your gearhead friends. cool smiley

That's quite an adventure and achievement by people that truely love cars and driving. I think Ferdinand would have hartily approved, with them using some of the same techniques that his son Ferry had used to build the first Porsche. It really is the melding of old and new to achieve something quite unique.

...so Pedro, I have this case of fine wine....
That is an amazing concept, beautifully done.
I saw that article. It was fascinating. I may have missed it in the article, but wouldn't the replica be much bigger than a 550 Spyder. I recently saw one siting next to the other and there is quite a difference. Becasue of the camera angle, the difference isn't as pronounced in this picture.

Yes, the article indicates that the replica is larger, however, they tried to keep the proportions in tack.
Wow, the 981 is a good-looking car.
