car: 2004, manual seats, grey partial leather. Nuthin' special.
My drivers' seat frame is bent, from a crash (car, thank goodness, was not bent)
I need a replacement. Anyone have one? Or know how difficult it is to separate the frame from the seat? I fear the point where the frame attaches may be bent - its hard to tell. what's easy to tell is that the horizontal, round bar on the slider mechanism is no longer straight. Looks like the height adjusting arms are not either.
other specific questions:
1. if i put in an earlier seat is there a wiring adapter issue?
2. Can i put in 987 sport seats? what magic or adapters might be needed?
3. Any suggestions on reasonable, comfortable, adjustable aftermarket seats?
