Has anyone tried the DIY technoflow on a 2003? I followed instructions and found the 3" parts to be much too big (especially diameter on elbows). Any thoughts?

The DIY Technoflow is for the 2.5L only.
Porsche completely changed the intake in 2000 when they went with e-gas.
They choked down the air intake tube, the throttle body and the intake tee.
They are way smaller than those on the 2.5.
What you need to do to the '03 to get decent power from it is to install the TechnoPower2 Kit.

I did it on my 2001 S a few years ago. I soon realized that the larger pipe would not fit so re-used the straight piece of the stock intake tube but cut out the expansion/noise control box and modified the rubber elbows to fit. I then wrapped the whole thing in foil-faced furnace insulation as it is in a realy hot place. This was in conjunction with a TechnoTorque 2 from Pedro. I don't know how many horsepower the mod was good for but was a noticable change. Sounds different also.
