replacing the bushing in a technomount
Petee_C - Tuesday, 9 April, 2013, at 9:09:30 pm
Hey Pedro,

Is it possible? I've got a enthusiast technomount from about 4yrs ago (maybe fall 2009?)

I'm thinking about trying to press in 98737502305 (bushing only) into my technomount to get rid of some of the 3000rpm vibrations.

Thanks,
Peter

... press out the existing core an then press in the new one.
You'll need a hydraulic press with the correct spacers.
Regarding the 3000 RPM vibration, you can diminish it but you cannot get rid of it.
It is an intrinsic harmonic which is a result of the engine design.
Happy Boxstering

ok thx. Looking at getting the Harbor Freight 12ton press for my garage if I can get the appropriate coupon.

Maybe I'll get the 987 full mount, and keep/sell the Pedro Enthusiast mount.
