That there is no "door ajar" light on the dashboard of a 2001 986s?
I asked my wife to take the Boxster to work on the weekend (50mile round trip), because the daily driver (Jetta) was going up on my lift for the beginning of a rear suspension bushing R/R. I needed her Q7 TDI to fit both kids.
Being a good husband, I made sure there was a nice pink baseball cap in the car for her to use, and gave her the lowdown on working the top (I don't bother with the Karate chop with her - and the sun would have warmed the window sufficiently by the afternoon to make it as pliable as a ?? old window can be).
She came back on Sunday, and I said... "I don't think your door is closed." I believe it was latched, but not shut tight.....
sigh......
