I wanted to share some recent experiences with my Cayman S and the CDR 30 radio - Strange loud popping sounds from the speakers only after starting and only random. The volume would blast when starting even when it was turned way down when the engine was last turned off. They replace the head unit but the problem is still there and now they will replace the amp now. This is stuff that drive you nuts as it is intermittent. At least the dealer heard it and tried to fix it.
