I sent this to my service adviser. He was not aware that Porsche had settled an IMS lawsuit.
The customer who had the IMS fail in his 550 SE was going to replace the motor out of his own pocket.
Hopefully, he is covered now under this settlement.

i sent you a link that indicated that teh 550s were out of the S/N ranges. Apparently others found out,.

of course, i dont know this info to be true - you would have to compare VINs agains t the ranges.
