If you own a Boxster or 911 for the model years 2001-2005, you may have a right to benefits under a class action settlement. You can learn more about the settlement and your right to make a claim for compensation at

So a question for the experts...

My 05 S was delivered in April 2005 and the VIN is 2 past the affected VIN range listed in the settlement info (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx12 vs xxxxxxxxxxxxx10). Any insights as to whether my engine has an "improved" IMS or how the affected VIN range was determined?

I figured I'd ask the Board before I contact the attorneys and get their input.

Thanks

Does it look to anyone else like the VIN ranges are listed backwards?

But then, since i put in an LN, i'm SOL. Therefore will likely remove myself from the class. We all know i have none anyway.
